Featured Services
The callcosts.ie website features personal/non-business price plans for home phone services. The site contains price plans that operators currently make available to consumers. Once a plan is no longer made available to new customers it will no longer feature on the website. In considering your home phone requirements you may be on a legacy plan that is no longer available to new customers and therefore you will not see it listed on the callcosts site. If you need assistance or have any queries regarding your existing plan you should contact your existing service provider.- Services included on callcosts.ie

Services included on callcosts.ie
The callcosts.ie website deals with most home phone price plans and takes account of the following services:
- line rental
- local calls
- national calls
- calls to mobiles
- international calls
What Services are not included?
The callcost.ie website deals with the majority of services that form part of operators' price plans. However, it has not been possible to include certain services such as:
- Premium Rate Calls
- Calls to Directory Enquiry Services
- Calls for every international destination
- Calls to Locall numbers 1850, 1890 etc.
You will also notice that callcosts does not list every possible international destination. Instead the destinations listed represent the countries to which the majority of residential international calls are made.
Certain features of existing prices plans are not catered for by the calculator, mainly for reasons associated with modelling complexity and the need to keep the screens user friendly. One such example is where operators offer a discount on their monthly plan fee for a period of time - e.g. 1st month free.
What about promotional offers
Home phone operators offer a standard range of price plans, however from time to time they may also introduce temporary promotional offers such as reduced/free rates for calls. One key consideration when evaluating a promotional offer is the long term value it offers. In light of this, promotions will only be included in the cost comparison where they meet the following requirements:
- the promotion should be generally available i.e. to all personal/ non-business users
- the period for which the promotion is offered should last a minimum of 1 month once the customer avails of the promotion within the 1 month period,
- then they must be entitled to avail of the promotional rate for a period of 3 months after end of the promotional period.
