Once a plan is no longer available it will not feature on the callcosts site. In considering your broadband requirements you may be on a legacy plan that is no longer available to new customers and therefore you will not see it listed on the callcosts site. The callcosts.ie website deals 'always on' and 'time based' broadband plans offered over DSL, Cable, Wireless and Satellite. The calculator takes account of the following broadband costs:
- Connection fees
- Equipment charges
- Monthly fees
- Monthly fee discounts.
The result provided is an average monthly cost based on 12 months usage on each broadband tariff plan. This means that the cost of once off charges are averaged. For example, a €120 connection fee averaged over 12 months will add €10 to the average monthly cost of a broadband plan.
